I think it’s finally hit me that I’m living my life virtually through the internet. I window-shop for clothes online, I apply for jobs online, I look for an apartment online, I have found my boyfriend through a message board… hell… I can even go so far as to shop around for ideas for sex on tumblr!
I don’t think I can complain and you know what? I’m not… thank you internet!
This time I had 2 dreams. I had one dream that was pretty straight forward and scary as hell.
I was working at one of my old jobs, at a daycare/day camp. We all just came back from a trip because a big thunderstorm had started. It felt like one of the more bad storms, so we really had to hurry and get all the kids safe and inside. Me and some of the other aid girls watched the rest of kids come inside, but before we could get inside.. we saw something falling from the sky. As it got closer, it was an airplane. It didn’t look like it was descending towards the airport.. just falling straight down. I was being circled by the other weird looking aircraft (like the kind that can refuel planes like that in mid-air), just going over and under like that would somehow slow it down. But in the end, the both crashed and exploded on impact, much to everyone’s horror. Then soon after that, I noticed a smaller looking plane, like a jet, and that was also falling straight down from the sky. It crashed and exploded, too. And that was the end of that dream.
The second one I had starred me, my brother and father and one of my friends. It was in a post-apocalyptic world, but not the zombie disaster kind, it was the natural disaster kind. Mother nature was f*cking pissed! Kind of like that one movie 2012, I think it was… never saw but I think it had a lot of the same elements my dream had. Just a lot of earthquakes, floods, tornadoes and thunderstorms, but it wasn’t completely end of the world because we survived. It was chaos though, I think that’s a given. Anyway, we were trying to look for a place to start anew. It was difficult to get around with roads being torn up or flooded. We managed to find a path, but it was weird to see certain things… like for some reason we drove by a mountain of empty school buses and we weren’t even near a junkyard. Then we found a place to settle for the night, but it was an oceanside town and the waves were still pretty rough. There were a lot of houses or businesses on the water and we had to make make-shift bridges to get across to the other side. And that was the end of that dream.
